2 QUESTIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY 1.) Any tips or recommendations on how to apply? I usually have a lot of trouble avoiding air pockets! Asked by Ruben Leon \| 2012-05-08 5 Answers View all answers Answer Hi, I made sure the screen was clean, free of dust and any oils from finger tips. Lay the screen protector down a little at a time , then use a straight edge to push the bubbles out. That's what worked for me. Take care.... Answer use a credit card on end and move slow. Answer Don't put the entire screen on at the same time. I started at the bottom and used the squegee to work my way up to the top. You can always pull back if you get a air pocket and push it out. Just don't get in a hurry and have patience. Answer The video was extremely helpful. A couple tricks to bear in mind. Make sure the glass of the phone is dust free and clean of any smudges from finger prints. Then begin on one end bending and rolling on slowly the protector. You can use a credit card to smooth the protector as you apply it. Answer Take your time, begin on the corner of one end and if you use the little plastic squeegee to smoothing out the air bubbles you should be fine. Good luck. 2.) Does this lower the clearness of the screen viewing? I bought this style because I wanted to protect my screen, and the "Anti- Glare" model was the same price as the others. I use my phone for playing online video games, and still enjoy a beautiful picture on my screen. I would buy this product again. Answer The clearness is the same, however the display is somewhat darker, due to the protector being anti-glare. This makes it much easier to see in bright light. Also fingerprints are not nearly as noticeable using the screen protector, and it saves scratches on the display. For that fact alone, I have always used screen protectors and have never been disappointed with the clearness. Answer No, all it does is remove the glare the screen is just as bright and makeup doesn't show on the screen. Also very easy to install. Fact is that I can actually read my screen better, especially in bright lights. I have also found that it makes a smoother surface, less drag, when I'm using the screen. I'm glad we got the screen protector. I noticed a little scratching on mine, after using it for quite a while. If I didn't have the protector, then that scratch would be on my phone instead!
