Answer  My wife used this and she never had a secondary hard shell case on it when it was in her pink holder. It was very tight all by itself, so you could never have a hard shell on it when its in the pink case.

Answer  no it does not it is basically a small wallet with a place for your phone and about 6 credit card slots perfect if you do not like carrying your whole purse.
