Answer My wife has a Samsung Charge Android phone. She uses this case, but does not have the extended battery. It is a pretty snug fit, so I would say "No".

will this fit a Stratosphere that has a hard shell cover on it?

Answer I have a Samsung Charge which is large than the Stratosphere and it fits with room to spare on all sides. Great case....durable.
Answer I use the case with a hard-rubberized cover without issue but a silicone-type would definitely not fit, too tight, and I have both types so this assessment is based on factual evidence. Hope this helps......
Answer Yes, I have a protective cover on my Samsung Epic and this was the only cover that I found at this price that fit.
Answer My husband found it frustrating to get it in & out with the cover on. He ended up taking his cover off. It is a great case but difficult with the cover on.
