Answer It should just move the little prongs one in the first contact and the other in the last contact.
Answer It works my most phones with a removable battery...but that's just the problem, you have to remove the battery to charge. I had the HTC Thunderbolt and I bought a spare battery for it so when one went dead I just removed the dead one and put in the fresh one. One problem with the universal battery charger though is it takes extremely too long to charge. With my phone plugged into the wall it only took 3-4 hours, but with the battery charger it took 14-16 hours

JUST FINE!!
YOU CAN SMELL IT FROM TEN MILES OFF.

Asked by Cris Tadena | 2011-11-22
Answer my usb port to charge my phone stop working.
This univeral charger works great for me.
Answer I don't know about your specific phone. It is generic and works for my Samsung with generic Samsung batteries. It takes a little practice to make it work, but it works slowly (like overnight) with a trickle charge.
Answer It wont work well with anything!
It's a plastic piece of garbage that will not accept various batteries such that you can recharge them.
STEER CLEAR OF THIS BOTCH JOB!!
14.)
i just bought the universal battery and need to know how to hook it up and how to know when its charging.? please.
Asked by Kristen Rumfola | 2011-11-11
Answer I haven't had any problems with mine since they replaced a defected i received. It has been very useful. I just had to make sure it is handled gently.
Answer You just place the battery iunderneath the clear casing (it's usually the 1st & 3rd +/-) You know it"s charging when 1 indicator is steady red& the other is flahing red. Full charged when flashing red indicator turns steady green
Answer I find the device useless. I have never been able to get it to charge my battery abd recommend the company stop selling it and replace it with something that DOES CHARGE CELLPHONE BATTERIES. I bought a functional one at RadioShack: pricey but it works. I even went back and bought another that I travel with.
Sorry. SENT IT BACK AND GET A REFUND. Mine is just a dust collector.
Answer Its very difficult to operate..i dont know how i got it to work the first time, after that i just dont understand, tried a lot

18.)
how do you know when the battery is fully charged? I have my charger plugged in and it has a red light and a flashing red light (no green)
Asked by Sara B | 2011-06-07
Answer The green light (next to the flashing red light) will come on and hte flashing red light will cease when your battery is fully charged.
Check your terminals for correct alignment. The points should be placed on the 1st and last terminals on your battery.
Reply Thanks for your help. how long should it take for the battery to charge. It seems like it has to charge overnight for it to charge.
Answer Had a worst experience with this. Initially couple of the chargers were not working and it was resend by your team. Later out of 2 one was broken. After 2 weeks when i started charging using the charger got via the first mail it stopped.
Currently I am not using any of your chargers. It was not value for what I got. Had a very bad experience with this.
Answer Hi, Sara. When the battery is fully charged the flashing red light WILL turn green. This may take longer than you expect. Sometimes, I have to charge the battery on two consecutive nights to get it fully charged. I think the charger has a very low amperage trickle charge. Be patient.
Answer From my own personal experience with this so-called universal battery charger: it's not worth the money and I never did get it to work following the instructions to the letter (and I'm a computer nut)! The light kept flashing and you just never knew if you were getting a charge or not. I even left it for 48 hours hooked up the way I was convinced was "to the letter", but zilch. Get what you pay for. I really would like to get my hands on a good portable charger without having to put the spare 'in my phone' in order to charge it.
Hope you have luck with this one. I didn't.
19.)
I'm curious as to the + and - prongs of the battery charger. Figure it will be of no use if I charge the battery with the wrong polarity settings. Couldn't find anything of the unit to suggest this except the picture in the ad. Called support with wireless emporium and they couldn't say which way either. HELP???
Asked by Laurence Fuller | 2011-06-03
Answer Sorry it took me a while to write back. It's pretty clear which way to put the positive and negative side once you plug in the charger and stick in the battery. The trick is that the prongs have to be in direct contact with the metal plates on the battery or it won't charge. Lithium batteries only have the metal plates on one side of the battery so that side has to be face up. It ends up being the positive side on the right and the negative side on the left. Hope this helps!
Answer It comes with no instructions but I think it senses the polarity and does it automagically. It does charge the battery-the devil is making the contact and the problem is that it is a universal one-size-fits-all thing. Your battery may be easier-I have to use a piece of cardboard to get the contacts right.
Answer I am not sure why but since I had an extra battery I took a chance and charged it the first way I hooked it up and it did fine. I have only used it 4 or 5 times but each time I did it it was charged up when I removed it. NOt sure if this helped you but I hope you are successful too
Answer When connected correctly, the 2nd light (Red) lights. While charging, the 3rd light (green) flashes. Its worked well for my enough with my BB Storm battery.

20.)
can i charge a spare battery out of the phone?
Asked by joe fortenberry | 2011-04-22
Answer True, it is cheaply made; however, it is also cheaply priced. I added a drop of solder each wire prong to make them make contact better with the battery terminals.
Answer Frankly, this was a waste of my money. I've read other comments before I bought it and I thought, OK, just tweak it a bit and it should work. I have a battery from a Verizon G'Z One that I cannot find a "desktop charger" for and, I DO NOT want to charge a spare battery in my phone! I thought this universal would work. It has cheap, tiny prongs that you have to figure out how to connect to your battery (the instructions are worthless). Not even sure they even do anything when they do touch the battery charge point. The unit is cheaply made and I tried every combination of prong connections to the battery I could -- useless.
NOW -- it may work for "other than the Verizon G'Z One battery", but I wouldn't use it based on its quality. I'll just suffer with using my phone to charge the spare.
