This external battery is for the Pantech crossover, right?

Answer  Actually, I bought it for an interface with a solar charger that wouldn't charge my Motorala Droid 3 phone. The solar charger does charge the Cellet but I did not realize the the Cellet only functions as an external battery and does not charge the phone's battery. It is a real pain using the phone with the Cellet hang on the side of the phone. I iwll be sending it back. Steve

Will this universal battery device offer more battery life than the battery the phone came with?

Answer  the battery was purchased for a T Mobile HTC my touch 4 g; a). it does not charge fully b) it does not fit into the micro slot on the phone is there a protection cover on the phone; the cover must be removed; annoying. c) the battery does not charge the unit; when the battery shows no charge remaining, the phone is dead, as if the battery is syphoning off the charge. d) I intend to return this for a refund.
