Call receiver can hear me, but I cannot hear anything through the earbud. What am I doing wrong, how do I use this thing?

Answer  There is a response button on the bar which separates the phones from the rest of the wiring. Depress this button once when the call comes in. If it doesn't work then, the headset is defective.   
Reply  Tracy, I believe we tried this, and got no response from an incoming call. Spoke with a gent names Ralph, he said basically what you told me. Is there another model for the Samsult Solstice II A817 that you could recommend, as I will be returning this one. Marie
