Do the silicone cases fit over this extended case for the extended size of the Blackberry Curve 8530 battery?

Answer  Yes. The battery is almost twice as thick as the original but the new cover handles it perfectly. After installation, the whole phone is thicker so you might have an issue if you use a case. I don't and I actually prefer the feel of it. I am VERY happy with this battery. It lasts all day ... and I use my phone a lot. - All the best!
