Replacement battery for Droid Eris

I bought the replacement battery and was so surprised that it was at my door within 4 days. It was perfect since it was an exact replica of the original battery that came in my Eris. It works extremely well and actually better than the original one that came in my phone. I had to charge the old battery at least every day and sometimes twice in a day depending on what apps I was using. For this battery, every 2-3 days. Great battery.

BEST FEATURE of this battery was the price! Compared to a TMobile replacement- forget it. I purchased this battery to replace the original that had 'bloated' up and didn't hold charge longer than 1 minute. It was also causing the phone to act screwy. This replacement battery fit BETTER than the original did into the MyTouch 3G Slide. There was always a little too much give with the original. This was a much snugger fit. It is a 'new,old' phone for me but the charge holds well. The new battery 'fixed' all the issues with the phone so I am very happy with this purchase. I would say I am a light to moderate user of the web features/apps and use the phone primarily as a just a phone, for email and mobile calendar.

Is the battery fully charged or do you have to charge it?

Answer  The battery seemed to be about 50% charged when I received it, so I let it charge over night before really using the phone. It also was a 1800 mAh battery rather than the 1500 mAh one promised at the time of purchase -- and although it seemed like a tight fit getting the rear phone cover on, it ultimately fit and seems to work well. It definitely lasts longer than the 1350 mAh battery that originally came with my phone (HTC Droid Incredible) or other replacement batteries I've tried -- likely doesn't last as long as those 2200 mAh or higher batteries that are so large you have to get a new rear cover for your phone, but at least with this one you don't turn your phone into such a brick ...
