Answer We have an older Samsung phone without a USB connector and it works fine.

Answer Yes it should. I found that this charger will charge most phones. We have used almost all of the ends at one point or the other.

Answer This should work for any phone that the adaptor would fit. Normally, you would only use the usb for computer charging. This unit just plugs into car lighter, put on proper connector for your phone & plug into car. The particular phone you have should be listed on the order info. We have a motorola razor & a samsung mesmorize that it works on, I has the connectors that fit many different phones, look to see if your phone is listed as being compatable. I also ordered the ring plug that this car charger goes into, slipping this charger into that ring allows you to use this charger inside the house in a regular outlet, extends the use of it. Hope this helps. The item description should say which phones it fits.

Answer You do not need a USB port. if your phone charge port will accept one of the 7 adaptors then just plug into any electrical outlet. I have both a car and house unbiversal charger-they are great.

Every new phone I purchased needed different car chargers (at a price!) so I decided to get a charger that would not only have a connector to charge my phone but also a phone from another passenger whose charge is low. Great idea at a great price! Also, being retractable means that there are no cords to tangle around the car console.
