Okay, I just spoke to my carrier and they said all I would need to do it unsert my sin card in this phone and it would work without me calling them for it to be activated. Does this sound right to you? What does Unlocked GSM mean?

Answer  I appreciate your interest in the Nokia 6103 Unlocked GSM Phone. The nokia 6103 would be able to be activated by inserting your current sim card into the new phone. GSM stands for Global System for Mobile Communications and GSM phones require a sim card.

When they say, Ready for activation with any existing or new service! Does that mean I have to have it activated thru T-Mobile who is my current provider?

Answer  Thank you for asking about the Nokia 6103 Unlocked GSM Phone. This unlocked cell phone is compatible with a wide variety of carriers, and would need to be activated through your current provider T-Mobile.

Can I just add my "sim card" from my old ATT phone and use this on my existing contract?

Answer  This is an unlocked phone that should be compatible with any carrier. You should be able to transfer your current "sim card" to this phone and use this on your existing contract. I would suggest contacting your carrier to confirm this information, as your plan may have specific requirements.
