Will I have to buy a different case? If so is there one available? I currently use the tough grid case and like it.

Answer Thank you for your interest in the Extended Lithium-Ion Battery w/Door for Samsung Galaxy S3. Due to increase in size we unfortunately do not carry cases for this Samsung Galaxy with extended battery.

Answer It is thicker, but not by a lot . The only problem with it for me is that I can't find a case to fit my phone with the bigger battery. As far as the weight I really don't notice that much difference between the two. Hope I was some help to you.
Answer The battery is a little more than twice as thick as the standard battery and has negligible improvement of power available to the phone for longer battery life. It comes with an adaptive back to enclose the battery. I regret the purchase and I still use the original battery. I find I must constantly recharge the battery during the day and I don't understand why the 4300 mAh battery doesn't significantly improve the battery life. Save your money and don't make the purchase.

Are there cases that fit the phone with the extended battery?

Answer I bought a case that attaches to the belt and the phone slides out. This was the only one that I have found that works with the oversize battery door. At first, it was a tight fit, but after a couple of days, the phone would slide out of the case just like the original phone. It does work....

Answer The back of cover fits the extended battery. I do not know if there is a case that will fit the phone with the extended battery. I have been meaning to look to see if there is one because that was the reason why I had not used the extended battery yet.

I have an Otter Box cover for my SGS3, If I purchess the extended battery will it fit in my case?

Answer I don't know what an otter box cover is but the extended battery is thicker than the normal battery-that is why the extended battery comes with another back cover.
Answer Sadly, no. It won't fit. I bought the extended battery and then the Otter, but neither the 4500mAh nor the 4800mAh battery will fit in the Otter case. There is always the hope that Otter will develop something soon.

Answer Probably not since you would need the bigger back cover for the phone. I looked at a video on the Otter Box cover for the SGS3. It looks like it's a snug fit for the phone with a standard size battery. So my answer is no. Put in a request to the company for a case that would fit a SGS3 phone with an extended battery. You never know :)

Answer Not sure as it comes with a new cover (since the battery is a little thicker). It does, however, extend the battery quite a bit.

How long should I keep it on the charger?

Answer When I received mine it was about 60% charged. I put it on the charger overnight. I also let it run down the charge and recharged it again. It actually charged in about 4 hours from 15% left. It takes just a little more time to hare than the OEM battery due to its capacity.

With all the fakes out there and so called extended ones is this guaranteed to perform and work? Have you guys tested it out? I haven't seen much reviews on extended batteries for the S3 yet.

Answer This battery truly does perform...I put the battery into the phone, charged it and still had 23% charge almost 4 days later. I used all aspects of the phone and never turned it off. The "door" looks nice even though I don't have the white phone. I highly recommend this battery, especially for the price.
