On 9-15-12 Edward Franklin asked if it was a magnetic closure and it was answered that it was, which is one of the reasons why I purchased it, as I wanted the magnetic closure. When I received mine it was NOT a magnetic closure it was velcro :( ..... So my question is...does everyone else have a velcro closure or magnetic???

5.)
If an iphone5 has a protective case will it still fit in this carrying case?
Asked by Regina Farfan | 2012-10-13
Answer This holster is gigantic! You could probably use a big case like the Otter case on your iPhone 5 and have some room to spare when you put it in this holster. I use a very low profile case and there is way too much room in the holster. The phone slides around and I have to dig into the holster to get the phone out.
This holster is NOT designed for the iPhone 5. It is a generic XL holster that can be used for multiple large phones. In fact, the holster is not compatible with headphones because the headphone jack hole does not line up with the holes in the holster.
Frankly, the case is just too big. I'm planning on sending this one back.
Answer Yes, but the case is too large top to bottom and it is difficult to get the iPhone five out of the holster.
Answer Yes the case is large enough, infact it is too large. The belt clip, while spring steel it is also too large to hold the case in place on your belt without slipping.
