Does this charger work with Samsung Reality batteries?
Asked by S D | 2013-03-12
Answer Hi I do not know what a Reality battery is. We used this for extra Samsung batteries for Galaxy 1 and another makers battery for another non Samsung phone. Worked great for both. Now we do not have extra batteries (yet) for our current phone array.
Answer The Black Universal Spare Battery Charger w/USB Port (Mid-Size) is certainly compatible with batteries for the Samsung Reality. I have also included a link to similar external battery chargers for the samsung reality verizon cell
phone:http://www.wirelessemporium.com/sb-12-sm-844-scd-1140-chargers-universal-universal.asp
Answer It appears this charger will work with the Samsung Reality batteries. You may have to reconfigure the charger pins (as I had to remove one of the pins to allow the slide to move far enough to make contact).
3.)
MY ORIGINAL BATTERY AND THE NEW BATTERY THAT I BROUGHT FROM YOUR COMPANY BOTH LIGHT UP AT THE PURPLE CHARGE COLOR AND THAT'S SUPPOSE TO BE THE COLOR OF A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY. BOTH BATTERIES ARE DEAD, SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
Asked by Tina Sharp | 2013-03-03
Answer I do apologize for any problems you have experienced with the Black Universal Spare Battery Charger. It appears that the contacts on the battery may not be properly lined up with the charger. On your cell phone battery, you should see a positive and negative icon indicating connection to the battery charger. A purple light will indicate that your battery is charging and a blue light will indicate a fully charged cell phone battery. Please contact us back if you have any additional questions.
Answer Purple is NOT fully charged, BLUE is fully charged.
Answer The problem is probably that you do not have the prongs adjusted properly on the anode and diode. Look at your battery and readjust the prongs on your charger til you get a yellow type light during charging. You will also just see purple to blue color when a battery is either not in charge mode or fully charged. If you have three battery terminals instead of two try adjusting the prongs to fit one and three. If this dont work try one and two then two and three. There are two prongs that work as the negative and positive terminals. Good luck.

does this charger work with sanyo incognito SCP6760?
Asked by Tina Sharp | 2013-01-25
Answer This charger will certainly work with the Sanyo Incognito. You can also view our tutorial in the product description section of this page.
Answer The charger works well once you determine how to use it. It's a little diffiicult to line the pins exactly right and the charger comes with no instructions at all.
Answer I brought it for an HTC mytouch,so if the phone in question batttery is around the same size than it should work.
Answer Depends on the width and length of the battery. Measure your battery ,call and ask them.

DOES THIS CHARGE A BATTERY OF A MOTOROLA PHOTON 4G?
Asked by dianne edwards | 2012-11-23
1 Answer
Answer It will charge up almost any cell phone battery. It charged my motorola " charge" cell battery great. I later changed over to a LG phone and the battery would not fit into the charger. I remedied that problem by breaking the spring that holds the battery in place and holding the battery in place with rubber bands. This is a decent univeral charger
For the money. Sometimes it will only charge to 95% if nottight against tbe battery. You wont find one cheaper in price is the positive.

Yesturday when this item arrived, I followed the invisible instructions; I slid the battery into unit: blue lite comes on, I then plugged it into the wall & purplish pinkish lite comes on. Few hours later blue lite on. I switch out batteries and follow same procedures as above - all good and goto bed.. This morning I wake up to a red lite. I take battery out & put into my phone and its only half charged. Is the unit dead already? Has anyone else seen a red lite? Thanks
Asked by John Eckstein | 2012-09-30
Answer Your probes, that touch the electrodes on the battery probably moved some.Readjust the probes. Depending on your type of battery the probes touch different areas of the electrodes. Just play with it to make the red light come on. It should fix it. If that dont work make sure the battery is also tight against the electrodes and wiggle some to get light to stay on red. This shows its charging.
Answer Same experience. I just tried again and it fully charged it. The pins must be aligned carefully. Did you see instructions online? It's below the description of the battery. I had to call them to be sure the instructions were complete.
Answer Same problems! I trashed it
Answer It happens to me from time to time. The pins on the battery somehow slip away from the connector pins. The charger is likely still good. Just have to make sure everything lines up just right, is secure, and pray it stays that way!
Answer Mine didn't come w/instructions John. There were no symbols for pos. or neg. terminals. Didn't want to take a chance and short the battery.
9.)
No Instructions with the packaged unit. Why? I think I figured it out but WOW, I bet you ruin a battery if you hook it up wrong.
Asked by Regina Farfan | 2012-09-11
Answer It didn't work for my Samsung Galaxy S3. I returned it a month ago and still don't have a credit. Buyer beware.
Answer The instructions are actually on the box the charger came in. The instructions are straight foward. match battery contacts to contacts on battery charger.
10.)
i have a cricket zte score and i've had my battery hooked up to this for about 5 hours now..does it usually take this long?
Asked by Tierrany Gilliam | 2012-09-09
Answer Mine takes about that long. I have never timed it but it probably is between 4-5 hours.
I have two batteries and alternate. I may invest in a third because I am talking a lot more on my phone these days.
Answer When you have the battery unplugged from the wall, you have to adjust the pins. On the battery, there is a plus sign and a minus sign, the two prongs have to go in there and once the device reads the battery, a light will turn on. Try that
11.)
Will this charger work with a cell phone battery. Samsung moment m900?
Asked by Regina Farfan | 2012-09-01
Answer I had a droid charge and it worked. When I was upgraded to a LG the battery was TOO BIG and would not fit. I compensated by breaking off the spring holder and using rubber bands. The charger works great for the price but usually stops charging around 95%. Thats a huge problem because batteries not fully charged mess up. This means I have to charge a few mins with the regular charger to get it to 100%. I only gave around 10 dollars so I think the charger is a much better choice than the huge bulky expensive spare battery pack folks like verizon sells!!! Good luck!

I put my battery in the charger and the led is blue then I plugged it into the outlet and its purple now it hasn't been in the charger that long, does that mean it's charged?
Asked by marc s | 2012-05-07
Answer Sorry I can't answer this question because I am equally confused. All I get is a blue light, no matter what the status of my battery.
The Chinese guy that packaged the unit didn't put any instructions into the box. So, who knows.
Why don't we all suggest the folks from We take a slow boat back to China so they can track down the manufacturer and figure out how their products are supposed to work!!!
Answer purple is the indicator for charging, it will turn blue when charged
