Universal charger, my eye!
Posted on Jun 22, 2013

Advertised for the Nokia 810, but the BP-4W battery won't fit - it's too wide by about 1/8 inch. Device seems well-built, though, and easy enough to use that having no instruction sheet hardly mattered - unless it would have told me how to widen the sliding battery clamp. Service was fast, fast, and I'll just have to order something a bit bigger next time.

This battery charger works like a charm
Posted on Jan 19, 2013

I bought this along with the replacement battery for my smartphone and what a lifesaver. It is easy to use as long as you line up the two pins exactly with the positive and negative poles of the battery cell. Fast shipment and I can't complain with the price of it. Thanks wireless emporium.

Got this for the babe because he was having issues with his charging thing on his phone. it was complicated for me because I did not know how to use the positive/negative on a cell phone battery but as soon as my boyfriend got it he figured it out within 5min. Amazing! so it works perfect and is very recommended when you are on the go or if your having technical charging issues.

Excellent value for this product, always a good idea to keep an extra battery on you while traveling or camping, hunting for when you can't use a wall charger.

Universal Battery

I bought this charger b/c I didn't have insurance on my phone and it wouldn't charge with the wall charger. The pins were confusing at first but set them to the outside pins and it will charge. Blue means charged all the way and purple is charging. So far it's working great.

Black Universal Spare Battery Charger w/USB Port (Mid-Size)
Posted on Aug 19, 2012

Daily I go thru 3 batteries as I text email call or receive calls from 7 to 6PM. By 10am I am changing my 1st battery, by 1pm my second. As the 2nd battery is now charging on my new charger on uSB adapter/DC hookup, I will have the 1st battery ready to use when I insert 1st or 3rd battery. I work in South Texas areas that default to TEXT Only, wireless towers are 50 to 80 miles apart, so even roaming drops to zero, but text is 90% availalble. So far my charger has fit and charged at least 5 different batteries I use. Thanks

My battery has three gold pin connectors and the charger has only two pins. How should the two charger pins line up with the three on the battery?

Answer  Thank you for inquiring about the Black Universal Spare Battery Charger w/USB Port. On the actual battery there should be a plus and minus sign. Move the moveable connection points so one fits in the minus sign and one fits in the plus sign. With out the item plugged into the wall the light should turn red indicating you placed the pins correctly. Then when you plug it into the wall, it should turn blue, then when the item is fully charged, it should turn red again. Please contact us back if you continue to experience issues with this product.

MY ORIGINAL BATTERY AND THE NEW BATTERY THAT I BROUGHT FROM YOUR COMPANY BOTH LIGHT UP AT THE PURPLE CHARGE COLOR AND THAT'S SUPPOSE TO BE THE COLOR OF A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY. BOTH BATTERIES ARE DEAD, SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

Answer  I do apologize for any problems you have experienced with the Black Universal Spare Battery Charger. It appears that the contacts on the battery may not be properly lined up with the charger. On your cell phone battery, you should see a positive and negative icon indicating connection to the battery charger. A purple light will indicate that your battery is charging and a blue light will indicate a fully charged cell phone battery. Please contact us back if you have any additional questions.

DOES THIS CHARGE A BATTERY OF A MOTOROLA PHOTON 4G?
Asked by dianne edwards  |  2012-11-23
1 Answer
Answer  It will charge up almost any cell phone battery. It charged my motorola " charge" cell battery great. I later changed over to a LG phone and the battery would not fit into the charger. I remedied that problem by breaking the spring that holds the battery in place and holding the battery in place with rubber bands. This is a decent univeral charger For the money. Sometimes it will only charge to 95% if nottight against tbe battery. You wont find one cheaper in price is the positive.

Yesturday when this item arrived, I followed the invisible instructions; I slid the battery into unit: blue lite comes on, I then plugged it into the wall & purplish pinkish lite comes on. Few hours later blue lite on. I switch out batteries and follow same procedures as above - all good and goto bed.. This morning I wake up to a red lite. I take battery out & put into my phone and its only half charged. Is the unit dead already? Has anyone else seen a red lite? Thanks

Answer  Your probes, that touch the electrodes on the battery probably moved some.Readjust the probes. Depending on your type of battery the probes touch different areas of the electrodes. Just play with it to make the red light come on. It should fix it. If that dont work make sure the battery is also tight against the electrodes and wiggle some to get light to stay on red. This shows its charging.

No Instructions with the packaged unit. Why? I think I figured it out but WOW, I bet you ruin a battery if you hook it up wrong.

Answer  Mine takes about that long. I have never timed it but it probably is between 4-5 hours. I have two batteries and alternate. I may invest in a third because I am talking a lot more on my phone these days.

Will this charger work with a cell phone battery. Samsung moment m900?

Answer  I had a droid charge and it worked. When I was upgraded to a LG the battery was TOO BIG and would not fit. I compensated by breaking off the spring holder and using rubber bands. The charger works great for the price but usually stops charging around 95%. Thats a huge problem because batteries not fully charged mess up. This means I have to charge a few mins with the regular charger to get it to 100%. I only gave around 10 dollars so I think the charger is a much better choice than the huge bulky expensive spare battery pack folks like verizon sells!!! Good luck!

Answer  Sorry I can't answer this question because I am equally confused. All I get is a blue light, no matter what the status of my battery. The Chinese guy that packaged the unit didn't put any instructions into the box. So, who knows. Why don't we all suggest the folks from We take a slow boat back to China so they can track down the manufacturer and figure out how their products are supposed to work!!!
