I want to be sure this will fit my older Motorola V170, as I just bought one that didn't. Does this have the small end to go in the phone?

Answer Thank you for inquiring about the Car Charger for Motorola C115/C290/V176/V170/V171/V173/W220 . This vehicle charger is certainly compatible with your Motorola V170.
Answer On my Motorola cell phone I would first select the listed phone number...then push the center round button (has the 4 arrows around it) ...will see "new" at the top of the display...scroll down to "delete" and push select button to delete.
Answer For V170, to delete and change the phone number only,go to 'Phone Book, then that entry, then "View",then"edit",then down to the number, then "change". "delete" will remove one digit at a time .Then put in new number, then "OK", then "done". To delete entire entry, go to "Phone Book" then to that entry, push the large round menu key, go down to "delete",then "select", then "Yes" and that entire entry will be deleted.
Answer I had the Motorola V170. I have since replaced it, (although it was a dandy phone!) but I kept the owner's manual. In regards to "Deleting a Phonebook Entry" . . . scroll to the entry you want to delete, open the phonebook menu, scroll to Delete, select Delete, confirm the deletion. (If it's not going away, you may have forgot to confirm with the "Yes" button) Hope this helps!
